Isolation
To create this image, I used techniques including, but not limited to, worms eye and double exposure. Worms eye view is when the camera is on the ground and the main object in the image is at a high center of gravity. Double exposure involves taking a picture, closing the aperture, take another picture, and results in two objects in the same photo. These techniques reveal that I am self-motivated, brave, and confident. I am enclosed by the storm around me and isolated from the rest of society, but feel confident that I will prevail and override the storm. The meaning of isolation is communicated through composition of point of view and rule of thirds. Using POV, I was able to make it seem like I was trapped and above the ground while rule of thirds allowed me to isolate my two exposures in the middle section of the photo. In addition, I used all of these aspects to create a mysterious tone and and dark, hazy cloud around the exterior parts of the photo.
